We are here in Oklahoma. It seems strange that our summer plans are finally underway instead of just talking about them and planning them. We arrived late last night, and we have spent our first full day becoming acclumated to the area and unpacking a very packed vehicle. Danny's little apartment is tiny...but totally fine for our month stay. And it is air conditioned!!! Can I say that OK is HOT and I am not used to sweltering humidity. The driving from NY to IN then from IN to OK has been exhausting, but now that we are here, totally worth it. This evening Danny will show me where the on post parks and swimming pools are so the girls and I can keep busy this week while he works. We have a whole month of empty days before us to fill. It will be a nice change from the exhausting activity I have been immersed in the last couple months. Tomorrow's agenda includes a much needed trip to the grocery store to pick up dinner ingredients for the week and then the parks! Danny also informed me that his "apartment" is a part of the on-post hotel, so we get room service everyday to clean...pretty cool. Although, I will be grabbing a thing of clorox since I am not convinced the maid's cleanliness standards will be as high as mine. So while the kids nap tomorrow, I will cook and clean a little...just the bathroom as well as giving the tiny kitchen a good wipe down, floor included. It will make me feel better anyway.

Besides the hours of incessant driving there is not much more to tell at the moment. We are enjoying Danny. We all missed him SO much. I am happy we are here to spend a few days with him. It will be relaxing...as long as this heat doesn't make my prego body swell to a ginormous size.
