The days are passing quickly here. It has already been 2 weeks...and we have only about 2-3 weeks left here.I will miss the easy access to the pools and parks. I will miss room service everyday. I will even miss this tiny little apartment that does not seem too small when we are all in it together. But I have another couple weeks to enjoy, which we plan on doing.

On the other hand I am mentally preparing myself for this delivery. All this relocation from here to there..and back has disrupted our insurance as well as finding a doctor. As of now I am not seeing anyone. I feel like this puts me into the "bad mother" column, but with all the paperwork that would have to be put through here on post and then waiting for it to be processed...I might not even be here long enough to actually see a doctor. I would also have to go through the entire process again upon returning to Indiana.....annoying. But as my other pregnancies have been normal, and this one has been normal so far, I am trusting that it will remain so. But I do have an appointment all lined up for Indiana once we return there.

I am making a small list of items for myself of things I would like once the baby is born should family/friends like to get a gift. I really wanted to try a baby wrap I know many of you moms use. Is it the Moby Wrap, and if so do you recommend it?

Yes,it is a Moby Wrap and I would highly recommend it! Especially for the first weeks/months when baby just wants to snuggle, it's great for keeping baby happy while being able to get work done. It is fantastic.

I like the Moby a lot (I have a knock-off one that a Rochester-area friend made for me), though I will say that it has a learning curve since it's just a REALLY long piece of fabric (basically) that you wrap the baby up in and then tie on yourself. Once you get used to it-- and especially if you can leave it "on" all day long and just slip the baby in and out as needed-- it's really awesome! Very minimal backache and it keeps the baby so snug that you can bend over without worry about her neck and head bouncing all over the place, if that makes sense.

Also, I don't think not seeing someone makes you a bad mom at all! (I wish I had some sort of excuse to do the same-- ha!) You're healthy, you know the baby's healthy, etc. And on top of that, you've done this before; you would know if something needed medical attention, you know?

Enjoy your last couple weeks-- both with Danny and pregnant!

I've been thinking of you! I'm glad that you still have some time together with Danny. I wouldn't worry about not seeing a Dr. Of course, if you ever suspect that something isn't right don't hesitate. You've done this twice before and instinct goes a long way!

I am still using my Moby and I love it. I can only carry Riley on my back now because he is so tall, but he always gets excited and runs around yelling "back" when I tell him it's time to go on my back! I agree with Brietta that there is a learning curve. When I was learning to use it, I watched several YouTube videos that other Moms had put together and it helped a lot. From what I have seen, the "Sleepy Time" wrap is the same as the Moby, but a different name.

Whenever we have #4, I would definitely plan on using the Moby right off the bat. I do hope to purchase a sling as well because it seems like that would work well for the times that I want something for a short time that is easy and quick to get on and off. (The Moby takes a minute to get on each time!)
